Warbirds of Sweden is delighted to announce that we have undertaken the renovation to flying condition of Svedino's FFVS J22. Warbirds of Sweden and Svedino's Car and Air Museum are collaborating on the project.
Our hope is that even our friends in Memorial Flight, France, will be able to participate in the quest to see a J22 fly again. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, we have had to put some of the renovation work on hold, but we expect to be able to have everything completed by the autumn of 2020.
You can follow our work on facebook and we gratefully receive any support in our work preserving our flying cultural heritage.

Preservation of the moving cultural heritage must to a great extent take into account conditions that differ in part from other types of cultural heritage, and it also demands action that is to a certain extent different from conventional conservation practices. Effective protection and preservation of the moving cultural heritage requires the pursuit of two essential circumstances. One is that older vehicles and vehicles need to be used in the future so that they can be preserved as a living cultural heritage. The second assumes that use should be possible without distorting or losing the older and culturally interesting techniques and designs.
